In December 2023, Three Suns Birth was announced as an awardee of the Rural Healthcare Delivery Fund Grant from the State of New Mexico. This grant marks a significant milestone in our journey to improve healthcare access in our community. However, there's one crucial component we need your help with.
While the grant covers an extensive array of necessities, including equipment, staff salaries, furniture, technology, and more, it falls short in one vital area: securing our physical location. We received an unanticipated update shortly before Christmas that we would not be able to pay for the clinic location with the grant funding. Without this cornerstone, our goal of opening our doors remains further behind . Let's get our doors opened, we are eager to expand our ability to serve our communities and increase access to midwifery care in a more sustainable capacity.

Prior to birthwork, Kate was a full-time artist. Inspired to normalize homebirth and breastfeeding, Kate continues to bring awareness through art, Midwifery, and advocacy.
